This painting was years in the making, probably around 5 total. I started it in Uni as part of an art course, and only finished once I decided to move to Australia, so it became urgent for me to finish it before leaving.

It’s a fun dark collage of objects and creatures I enjoy looking at. I wanted to give the still life traditional scene a new style. I’d also like to think of it as a study of light and texture.
