Art workshops

Quiet the mind and let the creativity flow.

I like to explore basic techniques of drawing, painting and observation skills that help soften up our inner critics and open up to enjoying the experience of creating in the company of others.

Bringing different kinds of movement and sensorial experiences to the sessions helps to awaken the senses and our childlike curiosity. I enjoy collaborating with other creative and community-inclusive spaces. Some pop-up sessions have included a studio with a contemporary dancer tasked with capturing movement, and an inclusive session with an MSL (Mexican Sign Language) interpreter to learn basic art vocabulary signs.

How it started

I’ve always enjoyed working with groups and especially with young people and children. After the lockdowns, there was a demand for spaces where children could be creative and stimulated after spending all day in online classes, so I started teaching a small group of children. After a year or so, I also started hosting sessions for mums and their kids, and adults who wanted to reconnect with their younger creative pursuits.
